take benadryl. if you get better, it’s an allergy. if you don’t, it’s still not likely to be swine flu. because you have seasonal allergies you are WAY more likely to develop asthma and breathing related conditions. it could also be a simple cold.

from your symptoms get to the doctor asap because you do have the symptoms of the swine flu and a doctor can tell more by doing testing.

coughing is normal with an allergy, with flu you will have fever, chills, aches and pains and feel unwell
wash your hands regularly and you greatly reduce your risk of getting any kind of flu

swine flu, you will find yourself not hungry, have body aches, fever, chills, headaches, and constantly tired.

look out for some of those.

They say that the swine Flu will give you symptons like the normal Flu would, only they will not get better over time.
I have been sick for 2 weeks with Flu like symptoms, I have tested myself for the Flu Virus; Flu A and have come back negative.
So just because we feel like we are sick, please do not assume the worst.

If you are coughing and you are in doors, then its more than likely not allergies. If you are having all these symptoms while you are outside than its probably the seasonal allergies. Although, you can get a cough from raining, and a cold is actually going around at the moment. If you have the Swine Flu you shouldn’t be to scared because it only affects small children and elderly people.

The swine flu has an uncharacteristic high fever and some reported dizziness. A bad case of the "regular" flu can cause the same issues so, your doctor will send off some lab samples to confirm the strand if it is suspected. Only the lab can confirm if it is actually the swine flu.

Having the same questions where I live. We have 4 confirmed cases and all the parents are being drilled with the routine. Our schools have given out information from the CDC website or you can look up the website of your local health department and they also have some good factual information.

There should be NO CONFUSION possible between allergies and H1N1 Influenza A. You have to have a FEVER (usually sudden onset 100-104 measured by mouth) for it to be swine flu or any other kind of flu (seasonal influenza or other flu-like illnesses).

Allergies will give you puffy eyes and face, stuffy nose, and contact dermatitis, which makes you skin red sometimes when you scratch it.

Swine Flu can cause blue skin, and normal Flu symptoms (stomach ache, turning stomach, spinning head and so on)
